The Titans Track Club was founded by Coach Tony Carpenter in 2001.
The mission of the club is to motivate club participants to aspire to achieve leadership, self-discipline, sportsmanship, integrity and a sense of community through the sports of track and field and cross country. The program is not just about running and athletic conditioning; moreover it’s a training ground for our next generation of productive citizens where team members learn the lessons that competition teaches.
As the Titans enter it’s 15th season, it is obvious that vision for the club has been realized. Each year, the club’s athletes are recognized amongst the best in the country. Titan athletes have won hundreds of state, region and national titles and even a few world titles.
Since the beginning, Coach Tony has served as Head Coach and President. In 2015, he will be supported by the following members:
- Tony Carpenter
- Robert Russell
- Marvin Spears
- Moura Ottinot
